Over 50 million adults in the United States alone have some form of arthritis, which is an umbrella term used to describe more than 100 different specific types of joint pain and stiffness (Arthritis Foundation). Although there are a number of medications that are frequently used to help improve arthritis symptoms, many of these treatments come with a long list of side effects. Fortunately, there are a few things you can do outside of taking medication to help calm and soothe joint pain and stiffness related to arthritis such as an arthritis relief cream.

1. Stay Active

According to the American College of Rheumatology, exercise and arthritis should go hand-in-hand. While you don’t want to push your body too hard, you should strive to get regular moderate exercise to help keep joint pain and stiffness at bay. There are a number of therapeutic exercises you can try that won’t place too much strain on your joints but that can help to improve your symptoms. Walking, stretching, and swimming exercises can be great choices for people battling joint pain and stiffness.

2. Minimize Stress

Stress Minimization

Since stress is one of the major causes of arthritis flare-ups, taking steps to reduce it can, in turn, help to calm painful symptoms. If you’re already striving to get more exercise to help relieve joint pain, this habit can also have the added benefit of helping to minimize stress and anxiety. Some other ways that you can work to reduce stress include:

  • Spending more time outside in nature.
  • Practicing breathing and/or meditative exercises.
  • Get enough high-quality sleep. Try turning off your cellphone or tablet before bed if these are getting in the way of a good night’s rest.
  • Give yourself a break from your busy schedule in order to relax and decompress.

3. Watch Which Foods You’re Eating

Keep in mind that certain foods can trigger inflammation and the arthritis flares that come with it. Other foods can have the opposite effect and help to calm inflammation and joint pain. Most commonly, a family of vegetables called “nightshades” are known to cause inflammation due to their high alkaloid content (Livestrong). Nightshade vegetables include tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and potatoes.

On the other hand, eating foods like fish, nuts and seeds, berries, broccoli, beans, and whole grains can help to reduce inflammation and therefore calm joint pain.

4. Try a Steroid-Free Pain Arthritis Relief Cream

As mentioned earlier, many of the currently available oral and topical treatments for joint pain and stiffness come with some scary side effects. For this reason, many people suffering from arthritis end up simply enduring the pain and discomfort to avoid using these medications. Unfortunately, this approach can leave you feeling like you’re missing out on the best parts of life, especially if you used to enjoy leading an exciting, active lifestyle.

The good news is that there is an alternative to help you get the relief you’re looking for without using steroid creams or other medications with unwanted side effects. Say hello to arthritis relief cream. Many men and women have already seen amazing results from using Enduras Recovery Cream to help calm and soothe joint pain and stiffness associated with various types of arthritis.

Enduras is a natural arthritis relief cream and is free of everything you don’t want in a pain relief cream–steroids, fragrances, petrolatum, and parabens–and is a light, non-greasy formula specifically designed to absorb quickly into the skin for rapid pain relief.

One Enduras user, Morgan, recently shared his story with us:

“I have stage 4 osteoarthritis and have found that Enduras Recovery Cream not only reduced the pain but also caused my nerves to reconnect after replacement surgery – the drugs I got from the surgeons were not able to do that. I applied the cream three to five times a day. It took 3 weeks before the full analgesic effect took place, so don’t give up on your daily applications.”
